New Beginnings for Women and Children
Memphis Family Shelter provides transitional housing and supportive services for homeless mothers and their children. Mothers and children live together in a safe and caring environment while they work to achieve independent living. Mothers achieve their goals through participation in a careful and well rounded learning program.

Who We Serve

Memphis Family Shelter serves women who are experiencing a major crisis in their lives. Many are living with family members who no longer wish to house them. Others are living in emergency shelters and have nowhere else to go. Still others have been driven from their homes by domestic violence, or have remained in dangerous situations because they feel they have no other option.
